Describe the complete multi-fiber path
MPO/MTP trunk procurement depends on the connector at each end, gender, keying, polarity method, fiber type and count, construction, and the equipment or panel arrangement.

Avoid a polarity assumption
A connector label or fiber count alone does not define end-to-end polarity. Preserve the link design, approved drawing, or complete reference when replacement fit matters.
Technical parameters and selection boundaries
Published configurations differ by manufacturer and exact part number. These are selection dimensions, not one combined specification.

- Use preterminated trunks for planned backbone routes after confirming the full connection map, loss budget, jacket requirements and installation access.
