Before you enquire
Match the product to its operating context.
Start with both endpoint ports, required link mode and routed length. Compare passive DAC, active copper configurations and AOC against the actual host support. Breakout assemblies also need a lane map; internal server cables need the controller-to-backplane pinout.
Send endpoint models and firmware, connector type at each end, length, straight or breakout layout, required coding, cable-exit clearance and quantity. For an existing assembly, include its complete part number and label photographs.
